North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA) does this through major investment in river and port infrastructure, supply chain innovation, digital connectivity and flagship transport projects like the Northumberland Line.

NTCA is focused upon championing and enabling the growth of heat networks and geothermal energy projects in the region. Currently, the North East has a pipeline of heat network projects valued at over £500m and possesses nationally leading projects.
