TIGGOR 2

Building upon the success of the first Technology, Innovation & Green Growth for Offshore Renewables (TIGGOR) programme, utilising funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the NTCA is funding the 1.75m TIGGOR 2 programme. Projects will be delivered between October 2023 – December 2024 and are expected to create strong economic benefits for the North of Tyne and for companies supported in the TIGGOR 2 programme.

Delivered by the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult in collaboration with commercial partners EDF and Equinor, TIGGOR 2 will provide funding to companies based in the North of Tyne region to undertake research and development projects to bring offshore renewable energy innovation to market, thereby accelerating technological and commercial growth for companies.
