The North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA) are looking for providers to work in partnership with to run a Poverty Truth Commission.

The Poverty Truth Commission (PTC) is part of NTCA’s Employability and Inclusion Policy priority. We want to help everyone in the North of Tyne get good jobs and we know the pandemic has made this harder for some of our communities and people.

The aim of our PTC  is to help us, our local authorities and wider partners come up with better ideas for our area – by hearing from people with experience of poverty and inequality across the North of Tyne. Based on a nationally-recognised model of practice, our PTC will be the first to run post-COVID and across a Combined Authority area.

We’re looking for providers to work in partnership with NCTA and other stakeholders in our area, such as the Community Foundation for Tyne, Wear and Northumberland. Tenders are invited from suitable contractors to deliver the North of Tyne Poverty Truth Commission.

Deadline for all tenders is before noon 1 June 2021. Expressions of interest can be submitted by following this link.
