Deputy Director, Sectors and Places Ministers, Governance and Strategy Directorate, DWP

Jessica Hodgson is Deputy Director of the Sectors and Places team in DWP Policy Group looking at how we target our labour market initiatives by industry sector and local area to achieve the optimum results for individuals and employers.

Jessica is also a member of the NTCA Inclusive Economy Board.

She has previously worked across a range of roles in DWP – as a District Operations Manager in London managing jobcentres, led work on automation, migration and the future of work, worked in Private Office and led the Spending Review process with HMT – as well as spending two years leading Defra’s Strategy Unit.
