North of Tyne Mayor, Jamie Driscoll will host his sixth Mayor’s Question Time on 23 June 2022 at The Exchange Theatre in North Shields.

Mayor Jamie Driscoll said:  “I was directly elected by the people of North Tyneside, Northumberland and Newcastle so it’s important that the people get to speak with me directly.   You might have a burning question, or you might just be interested in hearing about what’s happening.  Whatever your reasons, I look forward to you joining me, be it in person or online.”  

Mayor Driscoll will strike up conversations about his work at the question-and-answer session at The Exchange Theatre, Howard Street, North Shields, NE30 1SE from 6.30pm on 23 June.

Jamie Driscoll is the Elected Mayor of the North of Tyne Combined Authority which is responsible for spending a £20 million a year investment fund. The Combined Authority also controls the £23 million a year adult education budget and will be administering the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for the region.

Jamie Driscoll was elected North of Tyne Mayor on a manifesto that pledges to focus on community wealth building, addressing the climate emergency, setting up community hubs, building affordable housing, and developing meaningful adult education.
