This Call seeks to appoint an intermediary body to manage and market an initial £1.5m innovation voucher scheme for SMEs.

Business Innovation Vouchers

The Combined Authority is delivering a range of activity to support the medium- to long-term recovery of the NTCA economy. We are seeking proposals for an experienced intermediary organisation to co-design, launch and manage a ‘Business Innovation Voucher’ programme.

The scheme is intended to enable and accelerate SME adoption of new technology, equipment, and services by reducing the cost to businesses by match-funding their investment. It will support the creation and safeguarding of jobs and align to NTCA’s inclusive economy commitment.

Vouchers will provide up to £10,000 and up to 50% of innovation costs, and are particularly focused at businesses adopting the North of Tyne Good Work Pledge.

We welcome proposals from individual intermediaries or partnerships able to deliver the programme.

Please see below for key dates and how to apply.
