Cllr Nick Forbes, NTCA Cabinet Member for Business Competitiveness said: “Recovery and growth for our region is at the heart of the Combined Authority’s vision. We have seen the tech sector’s resilience during the pandemic and the crisis has only accelerated the pace of digitisation.

“And we know that utilising the tech sector for continuous improvement and innovation is critical if we are to move towards improved livelihoods and increased economic prosperity.

“The North of Tyne Digital and Data event will be a great way to engage with key thinkers and experts in the business and tech field and give local people the opportunity to maximise on opportunities in the region.”
