Who we are

David Willis is the Independent Chair of the NTCA Audit and Standards Committee.

Mr Willis is an Accountant by profession and worked as a Senior Official at the Department of Work and Pensions until retirement in September 2019. He has held similar positions in several other Government Agencies. Until June 2022, he was also the Lay Member and Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee at North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group, holding this position since 2013. Prior to this, he was the Chair of the Audit Committees of North Tyneside Primary Care Trust and the NHS North of Tyne Joint Board.
