Chief Executive: Home Group

Mark has nearly 30 years of experience in regeneration and business support and is passionate about placing customers at the heart of any organisation.

He ran his own business before joining Home Group, and previously worked with a Regional Development Agency as Operations Director and in a variety of regeneration and economic development roles across the country in local government, including Chief Executive at Northumberland County Council, one of the largest County Councils in the country.

Home Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of social housing, with a turnover in excess of £310 million, managing 52,000 homes and providing care and support to 20,000 people per annum. Headquartered in the North East, Home has operating centres throughout the UK, employing 1,460 staff directly and indirectly a further 2500 staff. Mark is also is on the board of the National Housing Federation.
