Northumberland County Council

Councillor Wayne Daley is the Northumberland County Councillor for Cramlington North. He is also a member of the NTCA Inclusive Economy Board.

Wayne’s background is in the third sector and education having worked for almost ten years at Churchill Community College heading up their extra-curricular offer for primary and secondary schools and more recently on the co-funded work with Save the Children to develop the “Wallsend Children’s Community” based on the Harlem Children’s Zone in New York.

Wayne has previously worked for charities in the “welfare to work” sector.

He is a former Director of a Multi-Academy Trust.

He has a commitment to “whole system improvement” models and how we can use nudge theory to make significant improvements for our communities.
