Northumberland County Council

Robbie is a passionate and enthusiastic individual who believes in delivering positive change.

In May 2017, Robbie was elected as a County Councillor to represent the Alnwick Division on Northumberland County Council. Robbie sits on the Health and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee and the North Northumberland Local Area Council which has designated powers for determining planning applications.

Robbie graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 having studied Architecture before working for a firm of architects in Newcastle upon Tyne where he was involved in designing large housing regeneration schemes.

In early 2009, Robbie joined a North East based firm of land, property and rural business consultants. As a rural Chartered Surveyor and a fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, Robbie specialises in providing clients with landlord and tenant advice, carries out valuation work and advises clients on infrastructure and utility-based schemes. Robbie also manages rural land assets on behalf of clients and gets involved in property portfolio strategy work.

In 2018, Robbie set up his own consultancy business. Robbie is involved in his families’ business, where they farm 850 hectares of arable land and have a plastic recycling business which operates on a national level.
