Councillor Clare Penny-Evans is a Newcastle City Councillor.

Clare is the Heaton ward Councillor, having first been elected in 2017.

Before she became a Councillor, Clare worked in the Voluntary sector. She set up a Mediation Service, mediating between disputing neighbours, Victims & Offenders and Intra Family conflicts.

She is Newcastle City Council’s Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Communities.
