Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson sits as the Chair of the Inclusive Economy Board.

One of Britain’s greatest Paralympic athletes, Tanni ended her sporting career with 11 gold medals, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

In 2005 she became Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson for her services to sport. In 2010, Tanni was appointed to the House of Lords, taking the title of Baroness Grey-Thompson.

Tanni continues to be involved in sport and physical activity. She is the Chair of Ukactive and the Chair of Trustees of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. She sits on the Boards of several organisations including the London Legacy Development Corporation and is also Chancellor of Northumbria University, recognising her long-standing commitment to the North East of England.

Tanni has previously been a Board Member of the Sportsaid Foundation; London Marathon Events Ltd; Transport for London and the London 2012 Organising Committee.
