Employability and Skills Programme
The Employability and Skills Programme (Phase 1) call for projects is now open with a closing date of 3rd October 2019.
The North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA) has set aside up to £3m of the combined authority’s Inclusive Economy Innovation Fund (IEIF), to be made available to provide a much-needed source of match funding for European Social Fund (ESF) projects. This is in anticipation of a new Call being issued soon by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
NTCA have developed the NTCA Employability and Skills Programme which will make available the much-needed match funding to unlock some of the remaining ESF funds available to the region for the benefit of North of Tyne residents and in support of an inclusive economy in the North of Tyne area.
The projects we will fund through the Employability and Skills Programme (Phase 1) programme will give good geographical coverage across the NTCA area and will positively impact on our Inclusive Economy Target Groups which are identified in the Inclusive Economy Policy Statement available here
The process for application to NTCA for this programme is now open, closing on the 3rd October 2019.
We will give successful applicants an in-principle confirmation of match-funding to enable applicants to include NTCA match-funding within their submission to DWP.
Full details and terms of the fund are available in the Call Definition document here.
